Cwm Chwefru Cottages are located in a secluded valley in the heart of Mid Wales. With no mobile signal, this is the ideal place to get away & switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

This is the perfect retreat for walkers, country lovers and bird-watchers, or as a base to explore the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia and the many other beauty spots of Wales.

There are many beautiful walks and excellent mountain bike trails nearby, either from the resort or a short drive away. Birdwatchers will find many interesting species in the valley including the famous Red Kites.

The cottages were converted in the 1980s, Heron block was a barn complex and reception block was cow sheds. An old Welsh slate with Celtic designs engraved upon it was found in what is now reception, our research led us to find that it was an ancient Druid's lucky charm, they were placed in cowsheds to keep cattle safe and healthy. This has now been donated to St. Fagans, the Museum of Wales.
